                      I built all this back in the early 90's and it did look super cool....

                      I had to also make a hub and lace up a wheel to take the 2 drums and modify the forks to have an extra anchor point....

                      unfortunately, they didn't work as good as I hoped and it was also real heavy on the front end so I eventually took them off and converted it to twin disc instead which was lighter and worked much better....

                      it it was a challenging and ambitious project, I did it while I was an apprentice....

                        If I ever do a resto on my 68 I think I will put them back on, just because it looks real nice and even though they didn't work as good as I hoped, it was still better than the stock front brake

                            i would think it would be a bitch to get them timed . if not wouldnt it pull to one side ?

                              no, since there is only one front wheel - same idea as one brake either drum or disk.
